Season Details

The San Francisco Youth Baseball League (SFYBL), a collaboration between SF Rec and Park and the SF Fire Department’s Flame Program. Divisions available for girls and boys ages 4-14. Team and player registration available.JCCSF facilitates participation in the San Francisco Youth Baseball League. Teams focus on fundamental skill development, incremental growth of the baseball experience and ease of play. Kindergarten play T-Ball, first and second graders play coach-pitch using a safety ball, and third graders play coach-pitch using a hard ball.

Team RegistrationTeam Registration is where a coach or an adult team representative forms a team of players on their own and registers the team in person at a team registration session at the SF County Fair Building located in Golden Gate park just northwest of the 9th Ave/Lincoln entrance. Prior to the registration session, the team representative will need to:
  1. Collect payment from each player (fee structure outlined below)
  2. Collect a signed SFYBL Waiver form from each player.
  3. Enter player information into a roster form via Sports Signup (instructions on how to access Sports Signup will be provided at the mandatory coaches Q&A session on November 3th)
  4. Attend Coaches Q&A Session.
JCCSF will form K-3rd grade teams to participate in the SF Recreation and Parks Department Youth Baseball League (SFYBL). If your child is in Grades 4-6 and interested in kid-pitch baseball, please email Sheena Lister at slister@jccsf.org. If there is enough interest, JCCSF will field teams for this age.  Games for this age group may take place on weekdays and weekends.
Cost Shetland and Pinto – $90 per player (includes uniform)
Mustang, Bronco and Pony – $725 per team (does not include uniform)
JCCSF coordinates registration for the team’s players. Cost for JCCSF Members is $430 per player. Cost for Public is $480 per player. (Financial aid is available.) The JCCSF provides coaching, uniforms, equipment and practice facilities.
Spring Registration DeadlineRegistration deadline is in November. Season runs March through June.Coaches should contact JCCSF well in advance of the November player registration deadline.
Individual RegistrationPlayers must register for a specific team.  If they are not part of one, they should contact the league to be assigned a team.Contact JCCSF for individual player registration.
